Acadian Lines employees in NB and PEI are ON STRIKE!

CALL OUT FOR SUPPORT!

According the the Guardian “Acadian Coach Lines locked out its 59 drivers, maintenance workers and customer agents in New Brunswick and Prince Edward Island Friday morning.

As a result, it suspended service in those two provinces. Bus routes connecting Nova Scotia to those provinces are also cancelled.”

Support the Pickit line

Please join Occupy Fredericton and our Union Brother & Sisters tomorrow at the Acadian Lines Terminal Building, at 150 Woodside Lane (off the Hanwell Road). Rides to the strike site will begin at 10 am (and every 2-3 hours thereafter), gathering at the Occupy camp and leaving from behind City Hall!

Help our fellow workers and service people make a stand against unfair corporate policy and cuts to their much needed benefits!

Come show your support in recognition of all they’ve done for us!
