Thursday, November 17 · 11:00am – 1:00pm
King Street in front of Centennial Building in Fredericton
Dear Shale Gas Opponents of New Brunswick,
Since August 10th, we have held 14 weekly Sidewalk Protest with our message to the government: NO SHALE GAS! and people from many places in New Brunswick have attended. Now, that we are approaching the legislature opening on Nov. 23, our voices will continue to grow louder as we count down the weeks to come, when government will finally be able to take our voices inside the legislature! So our goal is within sight and the countdown is on!
– United as New Brunswickers we stand strong and in solidarity together! We have a stake in this! Stop fracking NOW!
Please join us one more time bringing our message to the government and peacefully gather OUTSIDE in front of the Centennial Building next Thursday, Nov. 17th between 11am and 1 pm, so that people can see us with our signs! Please tell your neighbours and friends and come out to join the protest!
We all drink water, and nobody of us wants to have one of the “one or two wells, being planned to put in place over the next year” in their backyard or community!
Please circulate this message to as many people you can and bring along a friend!
See you next Thursday!
